The beginnings of American Football in Poland
An official American football league has recently been established in Poland. In November 2004 association started its operation Polish American Football Association (PFLA). Its co-creators are teams:

The early days of American football in Poland have actually been very modest. Only a few matches were played during the season, and the final in 2006 the years were played at the Marymont stadium in Warsaw, where about 1000 fans. It heralded a revolution in sports fields popular in Poland. The teams that make up the Polish American Football League in Poland - Warsaw Eagles and Fireballs Wielkopolska, existed before the tournament was formalized. In Warsaw, football fans played in "Orły" from 1999 year. In Greater Poland, the Fireballs club was established in 2004 year. The Polish League of American Football has started for good in 2006 year, when the first matches were played. The champion in the first season of organizing the American Football League in Poland was won by the team from Warsaw Warsaw Eagles, in the final beating 34:6 Pomeranian Seahawks.

Construction of the American Football Top League
In 2012 year, TopLiga was established, the highest division of American football in our country, in which they occur 42 team, in five classes. In 2013 of the year in the league they will take part 74 teams. There is also the Polish national football team.
The Polish League of American Football consists of several games. Primarily, we are dealing with three competition classes in Poland:
• Top Disease, in which the best teams from all over the country play,
• PLFA I,
• PFLA II.
Only teams from the highest league play in the TopLiga and play against each other after 10 regular season matches. The team play against rivals from their own group twice, and the two best teams in their group tables will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals play in Super Final PLFA.
Initially, the SuperFinal of American football games in Poland was titled Polish Bowl, similar to the Super Bowl played in the United States. The name SuperFinal is valid from the season 2011. It was then that the first finals of the Polish League of American Football were broadcast live on the nationwide television Sportklub and the internet television ipla.tv.
Top League Final in 2013 of the year was played at the National Stadium in Warsaw, on the second weekend of July.
