Creatine and BCAAs

Bodybuilding is not only training and weight training , plus a proper diet. Extremely important element of this, how difficult and intriguing, sport is also all types of supplementation. Bodybuilders use various types of supplements and nutrients, to be able to cope with exhausting training , and also increase their efficiency.

Among the mass of various products, creatine and BCAA amino acids seem to attract attention in particular. These are probably the most well-known and proven supplements. Creatine is an anabolic substance, which stimulates the formation and formation of proteins. It is, of course, legal and permitted form of doping in bodybuilding, which helps in the development of muscle mass , and additionally increasing personal power. Creatine is to some extent produced by our body itself, however, it is a very slow and ineffective process, because there is simply not enough of it, to cover the demand, which ours sometimes require, working hard for perfect musculature, muscles. Creatine has the ability to penetrate into the mitochondria, where it allows a substance called ATP, which is the essential factor and impulse sending information about the need for energy expenditure, transport to the place, in which it can operate. The ATP itself is unable to make such a journey. From a combination of creatine and ATP, basically parts of it, known as the phosphate group, phosphocreatine is formed. In this form, it goes to places intended for the functioning of ATP, to take shape again and rebuild itself as ATP. Without ATP, it would not be able to synthesize proteins, without creatine, however, its transport, and hence, also action. The second supplement useful in energy production and muscle development are BCAA amino acids. Our body cannot produce them on its own, therefore, it is necessary to provide them with food or at this point through supplementation. BCAAs are so popular in bodybuilding, not only, just like creatine, due to its large share in protein production, but also because of their anti-catabolic function.

Good to remember, that lifting huge weights, what the sport requires of us, what is bodybuilding, it also forces our muscles to a huge effort. That is why in this sport it is so important to care for a proper diet supported by proper supplementation. Unique and uncommon feats of our muscles, they also require special treatment and the input of appropriate portions of nutrients, which in many situations diet alone cannot guarantee.
